Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan
The Summary Plan Description (SPD) attached in a PDF file format explains the benefits provided to you under the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan.

The plan provides income during times when you are not working. This booklet will help you understand these benefits so you can use them to your best advantage.

Benefits are contingent upon the financial adequacy of the plan to which employer contributions are made. The Trustees reserve the right to change, amend or end the plan at any time for any reason. The plan is financed by payments made by the participating employers to the general fund of the SUB Plan.

If you need more information, you may examine copies of the collective bargaining agreement and other related documents at the Fund Office.

IMPORTANT:  As of July 1, 2014, if you work ANY short-calls (including McCormick Place) and are subsequently laid off, you MUST file a new SUB application, within 14 days of your layoff.  Benefits will not be paid if an application is not filed timely.
